Public hearing in preparation of the City’s FY2024 Annual Action Plan for the utilization of federal funding for programs that benefit low and moderate-income residents of Cambridge, as well as eligible HOPWA beneficiaries across Middlesex and Essex counties.

Fifty additional benches would make public transportation more user-friendly and less stressful. Benches would also make these streets more hospitable for walking, shopping, and socializing for pedestrians of all ages and abilities.

Add 4 inclusive elements to playgrounds as they are renovated, allowing people of all ages and abilities to interact with and enjoy parks and recreation areas and to encourage expanded funding of these elements in the future.

Install high-visibility markers on fire hydrants around town to increase safety for all residents and reduce response time of the fire department by improving ease of locating hydrants in emergencies, at night, and in the snow.

Expand the Cambridge Sports for Girls Night to include multiple events each year for youth in elementary and upper school. These fun events let young girls try different sports in a supportive community setting!
