The Library celebrates Juneteenth with the Dave Macklin Band as they pay tribute to the musical contributions of Black artists. PARK SOUNDS 2025 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. Bring a chair, food, and loved ones to celebrate the summer! Funding is provided by the CPL Foundation.

July 2020 LGBTQ+ Commission Monthly Meeting Minutes

The purpose of this survey is to hear from community members about their experiences and their ideas and hopes for LGBTQ+ friendly housing and spaces in Cambridge. This survey is open to any LGBTQ+ person who has lived in Cambridge or currently lives in Cambridge. Survey responses are anonymous. The survey results will be used to inform the recommendations provided by the LGBTQ+ Housing Task Force. The survey will be open February 6-16, 2024.

The Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women has released a new Mapping Feminist Cambridge story map. This story focused on Central Square from 1970s-1990s.

Music and a quiet atmosphere will allow group members to relax and get centered as they fill in the outlines of paper Mandalas with colored markers.
