Fatal Crash Under Investigation in Cambridge

Mass Ave Planning Study Community Meeting - Plan Recommendations
The planning team will share recommendations developed with the community over the course of the sixteen-month planning process that will help to Make Mass Ave more beautiful, produce more housing , provide more neighborhood amenities, support small businesses, and improve sidewalks and walkability
Mt. Auburn Street Bus Priority Pilot
Cambridge, in partnership with Watertown, was awarded a community grant from the Barr Foundation to work with the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) to pilot bus priority improvements for routes 71 and 73 along Mt. Auburn Street west of Fresh Pond Parkway. The demonstration project includes the first dedicated bus lanes in Cambridge and new bike lanes, as well as transit signal priority. It uses temporary materials like paint and signs, which will remain in place during the evaluation, and is the first step towards implementing a long-term plan for the Mt. Auburn corridor.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Saturday June 8th
The second of four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days in 2024 will be on Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 65 Waverly Street. Please enter the event via Waverly St at Brookline St. This event is for Cambridge residents only.
