O'Neill Branch Book Group (O'Neill)
A book discussion group for adults at the O'Neill Branch Library, reading a mixture of fiction and nonfiction. Past titles include Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer and Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell.
Print copies are available for pickup at the O'Neill Branch Library.

Cambridge Preschool Program Application Opens on December 1.
The Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP), also known as universal preschool, will provide free preschool to Cambridge 4-year-olds and some 3-year-olds beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. CPP will offer families a streamlined, single application process where they can apply to a variety of Cambridge-based preschool programs.
Families can apply to CPP from December 1 – January 15.
Sixth Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy Graduates, Nine New Officers Join CPD
The Cambridge Police Department announced that 30 new police officers graduated on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from the sixth Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy class following a special graduation ceremony that was held at Northeastern University. The graduating officers join their respective departments after successfully completing 23 weeks of training, which started in January 2024. The sixth class includes 9 new Cambridge Police officers
