The Cambridge Climate Committee (CCC) advises the City Manager on local climate change policy. This will be a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting.

Cambridge Works, the City of Cambridge's transitional jobs program, is recruiting! Ed Popielarczyk is a professional magician, balloon twister and entertainer who has been entertaining children and family audiences for over 40 years. His magic show is a comedy show that uses a lot of audience participation. The kids are the stars of the show. This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. No registration required. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Cambridge Public Library.

Applicants were eligible for up to $30,000 each via the Create Cambridge: Arts Nonprofit Recovery Grant from the City of Cambridge (managed by Cambridge Arts and the city’s Community Development Department), in partnership with the Create Cambridge cultural nonprofit coalition, with funding from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to make light-up crafts out of paper, fabric and LED lights. Snacks provided. No registration necessary.
