Come to the playground in your pajamas to listen to stories, read with your children and enjoy a snack before bed! This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This summer Pajama Story Time will happen outside in the playground area at the Fresh Pond Apartments. In case of bad weather, the story time will happen inside the Community Room of 362 Rindge Ave. Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.

Join us for a special Sacred Songs and Rituals performance in celebration of Greek American Heritage month with REVMA, a band that is known for its high-octane performances of Greek traditional Music. The band is comprised of: Sandy Theodorou on accordion, laouto, vocals; Rohan Gregory on violin; and Fabio Pirozzolo on percussion. Sacred Songs and Rituals is a music series which celebrates the many different cultures found in the City of Cambridge. Registration is helpful but not required.

Explore the 19th century origins of preservation at Mount Vernon, current conservation work, and the estate’s future, featuring: Doug Bradburn, President and CEO of George Washington’s Mount Vernon and co-founder and editor of the book series, Early American Histories Andrea Sahin, Vice Regent for Massachusetts to the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association
