Cambridge City Manager Louis A. DePasquale issued a letter to the Small Business Community. Ensuring our businesses can remain open is a community effort. We cannot let our guard down on our individual adherence to basic public health measures. Each of us has a responsibility to prevent the spread of this virus.

Over the course of the last year plus, I have worked hard to balance the many voices in our diverse community, find consensus within the City Council and follow their direction, and bring forward the professional experience and expertise of City department leaders and staff.

Cambridge welcomes new City Manager Yi-An Huang

Hear from City Manager Yi-An Huang on the significance of caring for Cambridge’s parks and open spaces.

To ensure the safety of the public and City staff, in-person appointments at City buildings, including contactless holds pick-up at the Cambridge Public Library, will continue to be suspended until at least Monday, February 1, 2021 as well. While City buildings will remain closed to the public, City offices will be open, and many City services can be accessed online or over the telephone.

On September 6, 2022, Yi-An Huang was sworn in as Cambridge’s City Manager. Mr. Huang is the first Asian American to serve as Cambridge City Manager.
