Bike Repair Stations
Install 8 bike repair stations with tools and bike pumps around the City for cyclists to quickly, easily, and freely fix routine bike problems. Locations include 2 libraries, 2 T stops, 3 parks (includes Inman Sq), and Fresh Pond Parkway.
Apply for a Dumpster Permit
A Dumpster Permit allows you to reserve curb space for the purpose of temporarily placing a dumpster on a City street for moving debris or garbage from a construction site. Dumpster permits are issued for a maximum of two spaces.
Housing Resource Fair
Join us for our Annual Housing Resource Fair and learn about housing services and your rights. City staff will provide informational materials and answer your questions about housing rights, affordable housing, financial assistance, eviction resources, and first-time homebuyer programs.
Cambridge Launches Separated Bike Lane Project on Main Street
The City of Cambridge plans to install quick-build separated bike lanes on Main Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Portland Street in 2023 and will launch the project with a virtual community meeting and in-person open house in March.
