Due to unforeseen events, the Mayor's Women's History Month Story Slam scheduled for tonight was postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, April 23, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

We will adapt the tale "The Tortoise and the Hare" and perform our masterpiece for family and friends. Using a ChompSaw (a kid-safe power tool), participants will safely cut cardboard to create shadow puppets. This four-week puppetry workshop is for youth ages 7-10. We will meet on March 5, 12, 19 and 26. Registration is required. Participants much attend all sessions and have read a version of the tale before the first session. The Gold Star Pool is now open for swimming 7 days per week, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Use of the pool is free and only open to Cambridge residents.

LilyPad in Inman Square will be hosting two events on June 13 and 14. Friday, June 13, will feature a live music at the Cambridge Street Court/Yard from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. followed by a brass band procession back to LilyPad’s performance space in Inman. On Saturday, June 14, LilyPad will bring DJ dance party vibes back to the Cambridge Street Court/Yard from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.

City of Cambridge Offices Closed on Monday, June 19 in Observance of Juneteenth. City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Monday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Payments will not be required at parking meters and parking pay stations. The offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on the holiday, however, the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
