People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. We encourage families to participate along with their children. Food will be provided. This month we will be reading and discussing Holes by Louis Sachar. Please pick up a copy of the book beforehand at the O'Neill Branch Library. Fall season is in the air, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with the trees and leaves to take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (long sleeves and sweaters) in the event of slightly cold weather. Registration is required.

It's creepy crawly week at the Library! Kids learn all about Arthropods, the most diverse group of animal life on the planet, during this exciting show-and-tell-and-touch program! Learn, see, hear, touch, and even smell the incredible adaptations these creatures have that help them survive in the wild world. Recommended for children ages 3 and up and their caregivers. No registration is required.

It’s an act of rebellion to use your body in a public space, articulating power and transcending awkwardness or beauty. Two community workshops, led by Professor of Dance Christine Bennett, will involve movement as a path toward understanding and resiliency in our own bodies and community spaces. The workshops are appropriate for all movers ages 18 and up. Register for one or both workshops.

Cambridge’s AxisGIS web map is our most robust interactive mapping solution. AxisGIS gives city staff and the public access to explore a variety of themes. It has many features which allow users to view, query, and create maps. Users can also export selected datasets, generate abutters list for mailings, use measurement tools, mark up maps, send links to other users by e-mail, and more!
