CPD and other community partners will be recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day on Thursday, August 28th at Cambridge City Hall from 1:30 - 4PM.

Members of the community have until October 1, 2024 to submit ideas for projects to improve Cambridge and be part of next year’s budget.

Authors read in the past five years include Dickens, Keats and Yeats, O'Connor and Munro, Ecclesiastes, Sophocles and August Wilson, Darwin, Austen, Duras, The Federalist Papers, and Arendt. How to get the print book: Copies of the reading are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during current service hours and a staff member can help you get a copy. City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Please also note that all library locations will also be closed on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Parking meter payments will not be required at Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations on January 1 and 2, 2023.

On Saturday, July 1, 2023 and Sunday, July 2, 2023, the Air Quality Index in Cambridge was at a level deemed “Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups."
