Combine your love for art and Spring, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with trees and take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (hats, sunscreen, water) in the event of hot weather. Registration is required.

In this introductory class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Adobe Illustrator, a powerful, industry-standard design tool. Explore the interface, essential tools, and basic workflows while creating simple vector designs of your own. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop. Learn to 3D print items in our library and create a 3D model to print using our Prusa 3D printers! Before taking this workshop: Complete Hive Safety Training Create a free Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com You will get hands-on experience running the 3D printer, gain fundamental 3D modeling skills using Tinkercad, and earn your 3D Printing certification for future reservations in The Hive. Create a Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com prior to arriving. Parents may need to assist users under the age of 18 to create an account prior to arriving. Registration is prioritized for patrons who will directly benefit from interpretation in American Sign Language. Please email thehive@cambridgema.gov to register. Try out 2D animation with Gif-O-grafs! Adults 18+ are invited to tell a story using 2D animation. Registration Required.

Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to make light-up crafts out of paper, fabric and LED lights. Snacks provided. No registration necessary.

Flamenco Dance class teaches the various rhythms of different Palos (genre) of flamenco. Learn coordination of footwork, body, arms, and fingers movements. Welcome and enjoy the flamenco experience.
