City of Cambridge Closures, Service and Event Information for Memorial Day Holiday Weekend
In observance of the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 25, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations.   The Department of Veterans Services (DVS) invites the public to attend three Memorial Day Weekend Observance Events: Grave Decoration Day, Observance for maritime military members lost due to maritime battles, and a Memorial Day Observance event.

City of Cambridge Implements New $6 Million Grant Fund for Cambridge Nonprofits. Eligible Cambridge non-profits can receive up to $150,000 for their organization.
As part of its allocation of funds through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the City of Cambridge established the Cambridge Nonprofit Recovery Fund to help address the financial hardship that the nonprofit sector faced because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible Cambridge non-profits can receive up to $150,000 for their organization. The online grant application is open until July 7, 2023.
