Flexible Parking Corridors
These changes are intended to reduce the impact of on-street parking removal as the City continues to build out bike and bus networks.
Current Programs
There are programs which we undertake such as creating charging stations for electric cars, doing bike promotions and education, crating a pedestrian plan and working to place bus shelters at busy stops.
By Transit
With six Red and Green Line MBTA stations, dozens of bus routes, the open-door shuttles, getting around Cambridge on public transit is always a great option. See below for transit routes and providers.
EZRide Information Session
The Department of Transportation will host an information session about the EZRide Shuttle and its recently expanded schedule.
This event will include a short presentation on the EZRide, which is a shuttle bus service that is open to the public for free. The Shuttle goes from North Station through Kendall Square and MIT to Cambridgeport on weekdays. We will show the route and its recently expanded schedule, including the new weekend service.
