Come and learn about your rights as a tenant along with Cambridge resources that support renters! In this workshop, you will hear from attorneys from Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services and the City of Cambridge's Office of the Housing Liaison. This a hybrid event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. We will be providing interpretation in Spanish and Haitian Creole on location during the event. The City of Cambridge can provide you with an interpreter for free. The Cambridge Public Health Department and city partners are hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the Cambridge community on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS), 459 Broadway.

The $1,125,000 in FY21 capital funds for the eight winning projects from the sixth PB cycle became available on July 1, 2020. The graphic below displays the status of each project. The budget Office will continue to update this information as more work is completed.

After five years and over 3 million visitors, Cambridge Public Library will close for restoration and upgrades that cannot be done while open. When the Main Library reopens on Aug. 24, they will debut our new Express Checkout system, featuring Self-Service Reserves and More Self-Checkout Stations!

The City will offer an additional day of testing at CambridgeSide beginning Monday, July 26. Testing will be offered every Monday from 4p.m.- 8 p.m. Testing at CambridgeSide on Thursdays from 11.am.- 3 p.m. will continue to be offered, as well.

The Birth to 3rd Grade Partnership (B3), continued its scholarship program for 3 and 4 year-olds from low-income families, adding two new programs to its menu of preschool options, and also increased its number of children accessing B3 scholarships by 13%.

This December, applications will open for the Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP), a joint initiative of the City and Cambridge Public Schools, which will offer free school-day, school-year preschool to every 4-year-old in Cambridge and some 3-year-olds.

On March 3, 2021, the Baker-Polito Administration announced that K-12 educators, K-12 school staff, and childcare workers will be eligible to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments starting March 11th. Please see the State's responses to common questions about this announcement.
