100 Trees for a Cleaner Greener Cambridge
Let’s green our streets by planting 100 trees in neighborhoods lacking foliage! From cooling heat islands to cleaning our air, these trees will be a long-term investment in making our city a healthier, happier place.
September 27 and 28 Traffic Impacts
The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts September 27 and 28 due to Arts in the Park, S.S. Cosmas and Damian Society Open House, Paddy's Cambridge Classic 5K, and the Rib Festival.
Rain Gardens for Resiliency
Rain gardens are engineered to use specific soil and plants that absorb and filter stormwater, and are a cost-effective, beautiful way to naturally clean runoff and protect from flooding. Green infrastructure has never looked so good!
Healthy Trees for a Healthy Cambridge
Street trees cool the city, absorb pollution, and make our neighborhoods more livable! Vote to plant 100 new trees & build tree wells in the areas that need them most, along with educational signage so you can learn about your “green neighbors."
Accessible Mats for Public Events
Cambridge hosts many outdoor events each year. Accessible mats can lay over unpaved terrain to ensure that more people can enjoy the beautiful green space of these events. These mats support families with strollers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
