The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will reconstruct sidewalks and begin resurfacing Route 28 in Cambridge (McGrath Highway and Monsignor O’Brien Highway). Work will include late-night/early morning detours for traffic heading north between Third Street and Broadway.

The planning team will share recommendations developed with the community that will help to Make Mass Ave more beautiful, produce more housing , provide more neighborhood amenities, support small businesses, and improve sidewalks and walkability

Community meeting notice for Mass Ave Planning Study - A focus on North Mass Ave. This is the first meeting for this study area. We will be presenting initial observations and developing a vision and goals for this area.
