The Cambridge Police Department is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred on June 11, 2024. The victim told officers on scene that at approximately 12:20 a.m., on the 200 block of Franklin Street, the victim was conversing with three individuals, and does not recall what happened next. The victim reported waking up in a parking lot in Central Square and having been assaulted.

The following results are unofficial as of November 7, 2023. Write-in, auxiliary, provisional, and overseas absentee ballots are not included in the results. Write-in and auxiliary ballots will be tabulated beginning on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Official results cannot be declared until Friday, November 17, when provisional ballots and overseas absentee ballots will be counted, as mandated by state law.

CPD's Secret Santa for Seniors Gift Drive is Back for Its 19th Year. This program relies solely on generous donations from Cambridge businesses, residents, community members, and CPD employees. Gift bags are organized and distributed to seniors throughout the city on the days leading up to Christmas to remind them that they are not forgotten. The program is a great way to support Local Businesses and Seniors This Holiday Season. Gifts can be dropped off 24/7 at drop boxes in the first-floor main lobby of the Robert W. Celebrate the breathtaking art of Xiang Li, featuring over a dozen selected canvas portraits of Chinese empresses. Meet the artist Xiang Li and her daughter Fei Wu (the mother-daughter team) in person, hear their artist talk and presentation, and enjoy a relaxed and engaging conversation. Ask questions, connect, and discover the stories behind the art. Light refreshments will be provided.

We'll provide the tea and light refreshments. No experience necessary. All are welcome. Acrylic paint can stain clothing. Please wear old clothing. Seating is limited to 8. Registration is required and will open at least two weeks before event.

Calling all middle grade readers! Meet up in the Curious George Room every third Thursday to eat pizza and talk about books with your friends. This month's book is Plain Jane and the Mermaid.
