Memorial Drive / Riverbend Park: Weekend Closures from Gerry's Landing Road to Western Avenue
The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) closes a portion of Memorial Drive to motor vehicle traffic each Sunday from the end of April to mid-November to allow pedestrians, cyclists, and others to enjoy the riverfront roadway without cars.
Public Art Commission
The Cambridge Public Art Commission helps guide the implementation of the Public Art Ordinance and the Art Gifts and Donation Policy, and advises on the overall direction of the City of Cambridge’s Public Art Program. The Commission brings its collective expertise to bear on discussions regarding the various program areas of the public art program, such as acquisition and deaccession, project planning, maintenance, conservation, educational programming, and the exhibitions in Gallery 344. The Commission reviews every percent-for-art project from artists’ proposals to final design. PAC approval is required before a project can go into fabrication.

The Commonwealth and FEMA Team Up to Increase Vaccination Administration in Boston
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and FEMA announce today a partnership to expand access to the COVID-19 vaccine by bringing 6,000 federal doses daily to the Hynes Convention Center vaccination site, for a total of 7,000 doses per day when combined with the state’s current allocation. This Community Vaccination Center (CVC) program will be open to the public.
