Summer Lunchtime Walks at Fresh Pond
Learn during lunch! Join Ranger Jean and staff on a walk to different habitats around the reservation. We will discuss the ecology and natural & human history of the landscape, with topics varying based on the interest of the group. Come with questions, or just to walk and listen. 2016 Site Monitoring Report
Highlights include: Drainage improvements to the perimeter road at Fresh Pond at Glacken Slope, and completed Route 2 Bridge reconstruction and Rt. 128 resurfacing which included new best management practices.

The Urban Agriculture Task Force is developing an ordinance that includes 1) zoning to explicitly allow agricultural activities, and, 2) regulations to support and limit activities.

Each packet contains a few pages sourced from Anorak Magazine, the ‘happy mag for kids’ designed to inspire and encourage children to tap into their natural creativity and learn while having fun.

Bridging the Digital Divide
To help address digital equity, purchase 100 Chromebooks and 75 mobile hotspots (with a 2-year subscription) for the Community Learning Center and Public Library to better serve their adult learners and borrowers.
