Household Waste Collection Day Saturday November 5
The last Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day of 2022 for residents only will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 50 Mooney Street. Please enter the event via Smith Place off of Concord Avenue. The City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) and Cambridge Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic.
Open Data Program
The City of Cambridge is committed to using technology to increase accessibility to and transparency of information owned by the City. Providing access to information is one means through which the City can foster engagement and collaboration with its citizenry. Apply for a One-Day Alcohol and Entertainment License
In an effort to streamline processes and increase transparency, the License Commission has created an application for the following requests: one-day alcohol licenses, one-day entertainment licenses, and one-day alcohol and entertainment licenses.
Transition Wellness Center
The Transition Wellness Center (TWC), a temporary homeless shelter at the Spaulding Hospital, opened on December 16 following the closure of the temporary emergency shelter at the War Memorial Recreation Center. The shelter is intended to help address the urgent needs of Cambridge residents who are experiencing homelessness or unable to safely quarantine in their residence due to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
