The Baker-Polito Administration announced new TV ads as part of its $5 million, multilingual “Trust the Facts, Get the Vax” public awareness campaign. The new ads remind people that the COVID-19 vaccine saves lives and urges them to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones.

The City of Cambridge and Cambridge Public Schools, in partnership with local nonprofit Food for Free, have served thousands of meals to Cambridge adults and children since widespread closures and food service disruptions due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak began in mid-March.

Due to a calculation error, the Cambridge case counts reported for April 12 reflected an over count. The Cambridge Public Health Department has since reconciled the discrepancy in positive case counts among Cambridge residents (in non-institutional settings) and newly reported cases in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Baker-Polito Administration Initiates Transition to Third Phase of Four-Phase Approach

The City of Cambridge announced it is expanding payments from its COVID-19 Housing Stabilization Program from two months of short-term financial assistance to four months of assistance.

The campaign includes a website, “Well-Being” characters, and mental health resources.
