The City of Cambridge and Cambridge Public Schools are delighted to announce that applications for the Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP) for the 2025-2026 school year are now being accepted through Thursday, October 31, 2024. Classes focus on plays, cultural exploration, and conversation

The CLC offers three types of English classes in North Cambridge: Beginner conversation classes for older adults, English Class for Parents with Young Children, low to intermediate-level English classes at the CLC's North Cambridge location.

The integration of these new ebikes is expected to grow the overall Bluebikes fleet to 5,000 bikes across 500 regional stations by next summer.

Beginning November 1, 2022, commercial generators that produce more than 1,000 lbs of food waste per week will be required to reduce or divert their food waste going into the trash. To assist small businesses in Cambridge with this state regulation, the service and carts will be provided by the city at no cost to the participating businesses. Weekly collection is anticipated to start on October 24, 2022.
