Authors read in the past five years include Dickens, Keats and Yeats, O'Connor and Munro, Ecclesiastes, Sophocles and August Wilson, Darwin, Austen, Duras, The Federalist Papers, and Arendt. How to get the print book: Copies of the reading are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during current service hours and a staff member can help you get a copy. City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024 in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Payments will not be required at Cambridge parking meters and pay stations on January 1, 2024. Curbside collection of trash, recycling, and compost will be suspended on January 1 and will be one day behind its regular schedule that week. Please note that yard waste pick-up and street cleaning ends on December 29 and will resume in April 2024.

PARK SOUNDS 2026 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages.
