It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Let your imagination run wild! The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. For children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 30 builders. Children under age 7 must be attended by a caregiver. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. This program starts promptly and any unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. Cambridge Community Electricity Program Offers New Fixed Prices and Renewable Energy Options for Residents and Businesses
The City of Cambridge today announced that the Cambridge Community Electricity (CCE) Program is entering a new two-year contract period with Direct Energy Services LLC (Direct Energy) resulting in new fixed electricity prices starting in January 2024. Residential and commercial account holders will also now have three electricity options that vary in price and renewable energy content.

The City of Cambridge today announced the April schedule for its 7 days per week testing program, including walk-in and appointment-based testing options. Appointment-only testing, provided through a partnership with CIC Health, will continue be available 7 days per week at CIC Health’s 295 Third Street location to people who live or work in Cambridge.

Emerging Artists Workshop series
Cambridge Arts and Community Development Department are offering free workshops to support emerging artists through their professional development. The topics will include financial literacy, artistic identity, grant writing, marketing, advocacy, and wellness. Workshops will be offered online during the months of October, November, and December. We are offering this opportunity to practitioners in every form of creative expression, however, there is limited availability. We encourage local artists and practitioners from historically disempowered and oppressed communities (women, people of color, veterans, individuals who are disabled, and members of the LGBTQ+ community) to register.
Cambridge Commemorates Martin Luther King Day with Exhibit, Events, and MLK Day of Service and Learning
We will honor and remember Dr. King and his legacy, hear remarks from City leaders, hear from members of the Cambridge community as they share readings of Dr. King’s words calling for peace, justice and transformation, and hear musical performances. Immediately following the City's commemoration, Many Helping Hands 365 will host its MLK Day of Service.
Families and Community Invited to Pfizer Vaccine and Flu Clinics at King Open School on Nov. 10 and Dec. 1
Students, families, and the community are invited to get their free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the King Open School located at 850 Cambridge Street. Flu vaccine, including FluMist and high-dose vaccine, will also be offered.
