This class is temporarily being held at the Main Library while the Valente Branch Library is closed. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for 20-25 minutes of fun and scary songs and stories for a late October treat! Feel free to wear your favorite cozy pajamas or a scary or fun costume! Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.

The Office of Workforce Development offers a variety of programs to help residents ages 18 and older gain job experience and develop professional skillsets. OWD also provides career counseling, and job search supprt. Staff also facilitate job fairs and hiring events several times of year to connect Cambridge residents to the city's vibrant economy.

People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. Food will be provided. This month we will read and discuss Words with Wings and Magic Things by Matthew Burgess. Biking infrastructure doesn’t end with bike lanes. This project will construct a bike shelter with 20 covered spaces. Install 50 new bike racks with a capacity for 100 bikes and install 10 new bike repair stations.

Located at 806 Massachusetts Ave., the Cambridge Senior Center offers programming, events, lunches, and recreational options to Cambridge residents age 60 and older.

The ordinance requires new construction and major renovation projects to be fossil fuel-free. This applies to residential and non-residential building projects.
