May Selection: On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong A book discussion group for adults at the O'Neill Branch Library, reading a mixture of fiction and nonfiction. Past titles include Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer and Cherokee America by Margaret Verble. Print copies are available for pickup at the O'Neill Branch Library. Work to install separated bike lanes near intersection of Mt. Auburn Street & Aberdeen Avenue begins
We will install pavement markings for a new separated bike lane, bus lanes, and turn-only lanes on Mt. Auburn Street between Brattle Street and Belmont Street. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of April 22.

Centre Street from Dana St. to Hancock St. and Dana Street from Cambridge Street to Mass Ave are scheduled for reconstruction in 2022 as part of the City's Five Year Plan for Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction.

A cleaner, more connected Cambridge is here, by way of hands-free, solar-powered BigBelly bins. The new, foot-pedal operated trash and recycling compactors can provide free local WiFi, cut carbon emissions, and conserve City resources.
