Cambridge Martin Luther King Day Commemoration Returns in 2023
The City of Cambridge's 2023 Annual Martin Luther King Day Commemoration and Remembrance will take place on Monday, January 16 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Central Square. It will feature readings, music, remarks from Gail Packer, and a community lunch.

Stop by to pick up an activity before the weekend. Choose a paper mask template to take home; then color, cut and assemble.
Recommended for ages 4-10, while supplies last. Crayons/markers, scissors and glue/tape not provided.

July 2025 Red Line Closure
Shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains between Kendall/MIT (Cambridge) and JFK/UMass (Boston) starting at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, through the end of service on Sunday, July 13. This Red Line closure will happen again from July 17–20.

The Capital Building Projects Department manages planning, design, and construction of a wide range and scale of projects across Cambridge's municipal building portfolio, including renovations and upgrades to Public Works facilities, youth centers, branch libraries, fire stations, and City offices.

The Commission works dynamically to maximize access to all aspects of Cambridge community life for individuals with disabilities, and strives to raise awareness of disability matters, to eliminate discrimination, and to promote equal opportunity for people with all types of disabilities – physical, mental and sensory.
Journey Towards a Greener Transportation System
Cambridge promotes sustainable transportation through education, community workshops, planning, and infrastructure projects. Resident volunteers can provide input on transportation projects. The City is investing in Electric Vehicle infrastructure and adding more fully electric vehicles to its fleet.
