Juvenile Fire Education Program offers children an alternative to facing criminal charges for their involvement in lighting fires, while also providing an educational opportunity to inform them of the hazards of fire.

Join us at the Valente library for some dinosaur fun! It's your turn to be a paleontologist: use a chisel and brush to excavate your own tiny dinosaur. We'll play dinosaur trivia and look at dinosaur books! All supplies provided by the library. Recommended for ages 5+. Dinosaur coloring pages will be provided for younger children. Do you enjoy working with young people? The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) is hiring for a variety of part-time and full-time positions in our youth divisions.

Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to make light-up crafts out of paper, fabric and LED lights. Snacks provided. No registration necessary.
