Norfolk Street
The City of Cambridge, with the Affordable Housing Trust (CAHT) and the Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA), celebrated a recently completed Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) development at 116 Norfolk Street. With funding from the City through the Affordable Housing Trust, as well as other public and private funding, the CHA has completed the construction of 62 new PSH units.

31-37 Mellen Street
The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) purchased 31-37 Mellen Street, a 26,000 square foot property, from Lesley University in late December 2025. Located in the Baldwin neighborhood between Harvard Square and Porter Square, the site is in close proximity to the area’s many amenities including local retail restaurants, and the MBTA train stations and bus transportation. The CHA is planning to create new affordable housing on the sites under the provisions of the Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO).
