Housing
The Housing Department works to promote and maintain the socioeconomic diversity of the city by managing and implementing the City’s efforts to meet the housing needs of low-, and moderate-, and middle-income residents, and develops initiatives to preserve and expand the City's stock of affordable rental and homeownership housing.

The process to create a vision for the future governance, operation, and programming of the Harvard Square Kiosk Plaza.
Binney Street Stormwater Utility Improvements Construction Project
The City of Cambridge and DivcoWest, the developer of NorthPoint, will be implementing storm water infrastructure improvements on Binney Street. The new drainage system will be installed in Binney Street from Cardinal Medeiros Avenue to the area west of Galileo Galilei Way, through the park area to Broadway. The system will be owned and maintained by the City of Cambridge.
October is National Women's Business Month
The City is celebrating National Women's Business Month this October to recognize the importance of women-owned businesses and to highlight the women entrepreneurs in the local Cambridge economy.
Half Crown-Marsh NCD Public Meeting
Public Hearing of the Half Crown-Marsh Neighborhood Co.nservation District Commission in order to review applications to alter designated properties and other matters under the provisions of Chapter 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge and the order establishing the district. The Commission has a monthly meeting calendar, though meetings may be cancelled if no applications are received

The Property Office is responsible for securing all properties that come into the control of the Cambridge Police Department.
