In 2024, the City of Cambridge plans to install quick-build separated bike lanes and make related safety improvements on Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Second Street. We will start by introducing the project and gathering feedback that will help us draft designs for the street.

The Cambridge Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department will begin outreach on three quick-build separated bicycle lane projects between the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023.
