The Office of Workforce Development (OWD) offers a variety of youth employment programming and services. We provide services for Cambridge residents starting at age 14 through the summer after they finish high school.
Thank a Dispatcher as Part of National Telecommunicators Week April 13-19
As part of this year’s National Telecommunicators Week celebration, Emergency Communications is looking to hear from the community and better understand how dispatchers have helped residents. The Department is asking residents to submit a write-up on support they received from a dispatcher or just provide words of encouragement or gratitude for the work that dispatchers do.
Electric Vehicle Charging
The City recognizes the importance of EV charging infrastructure along with other sustainable modes of transportation such as walking, biking, and taking public transportation. There are several City-owned public charging stations throughout Cambridge.
Winter Resources for Unsheltered Residents
Winter storms and extreme temperatures pose a severe risk to the safety and health of people remaining outdoors.
