Weekly update from the Cambridge Public Health Department to the Cambridge City Council

Recalling all who perished during the Holocaust, this year’s virtual program features music, greetings, and remarks from Eva Paddock, who survived the Holocaust by being sent on the "Kindertransport" from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia to London at the age of 3.

Join us for a special performance exploring the rich musical dialogue between Turkish folk and classical traditions. Featuring multi-instrumentalists Volkan Efe (oud, kanun, ney, yaylı tanbur), Fatih Acun (bağlama, oud), and vocalist Ezgi Kurt, this concert presents a program rooted in cultural heritage of Turkiye.

Join the Cambridge Public Library for a screening of The Next Dream, an independent documentary about more than one million Temporary Protected Status (TPS) families across the U.S., who are at risk of deportation and family separation. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with members of the National TPS Alliance and the film's producers. Come and meet members of the TPS families, learn about their struggles, and discuss how we may support our neighbors across the country. To learn more about this project, please click here. Are you curious about poop? This program goes down the sewer, out into space, deep under the sea and back to the time of the dinosaurs to explore what happens to all of our poop. Susie Maguire at The Poop Museum is a poop expert who thinks poop is THE most interesting subject in the world. She has studied poop for years and loves nothing more than sharing her expansive knowledge of poop. Recommended for children ages 5-10 years old and their caregivers.

The Foundry is a self-sustaining center of creativity and collaboration in the Kendall Square neighborhood offering the Cambridge community opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
