Can a robot be a friend? Can a robot help do your chores? An educator from the Museum of Science leads Robot Storytime to explore these questions through an original story. After the story, participants can interact with a robot dog! No registration required. Recommended for ages 0-7 with a caregiver.

To mark the 250th anniversaries of the American Revolution and the founding of the United States, a coalition of local non-profits and government agencies will present Washington in American Memory, a seven-part speaker series. The Copihue is the Chilean national flower and because it's an endangered species, its protected from being cut or sold. There is a legend about the origin of this flower that comes from the Mapuche.

The program serves primarily 14 and 15 year olds, though 16 to 18 year olds are encouraged to apply, and many older applicants will be assigned to worksites.

Mass Audubon will lead an exploration around the library in search of plants and animals, while using scientific tools like binoculars and magnifying lenses to get a closer look. We'll record what we find in our nature journals and play nature games. All materials will be provided. No registration required. This program is recommended for children 4-8 and their caregivers.
