On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 CPD joined other community members on the lawn of City Hall for the annual Domestic Violence Vigil. The vigil is held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to honor the Massachusetts women, men, and children who have tragically lost their lives during domestic violence incidents over the past year.

Sacred Songs and Rituals brings Kendra Comstock, soprano, and Charles Iner, lute, to explore Catholic persecution during the English Renaissance and the forms of secret musical resistance Catholic musicians created during this time. Sacred Songs and Rituals is a Cambridge Public Library music series celebrating the divine in the many cultures found in Cambridge.

Join us for a resource fair followed by a screening of a powerful documentary exploring how immigration enforcement impacts communities across the US. The film will be followed by a presentation from LUCE and a reflection.     12:00 p.m. - Community Resource Fair and Refreshments     1:00 p.m. - Welcome & Film Screening (approx. 105 mins.)     2:45 p.m. - Post-Film Reflection presentation by LUCE     3:00 p.m. - Event Concludes
