Celebrate the end of summer with neighbors old and new! We will have free food, games, crafts, bubbles and a clothing swap! All neighbors of any age are welcome. At 3:30 p.m. we will have a family-friendly concert with music by Music at the Blissful. This event will happen outside. In case of rain or bad weather there will be modified activities inside the O'Neill Branch.

Join Central Square's new Horror Book Club. We're exploring horror in all forms -- classic horror, queer horror, ghost stories, and more! For our July meeting, we're reading Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. Copies are available for pickup at the branch. For this title, we're following up our discussion with a special film screening of the 2018 film adaptation, Annihilation, starring Natalie Portman. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sewing machine operation and safety. This session will cover machine setup, basic functions, threading the machine, reloading the bobbin, sewing straight stitches, and recognizing when stitch tension has gone awry. We’ll also cover some safety best practices when operating a sewing machine. As we learn together, we’ll work on a simple sewing project—a drawstring bag—which most students will be able to complete by the end of the class. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

Today's Teen Hangout has been canceled. Hangout with other teens in the Valente Branch Community Room after school: socialize, unwind, play a game, make some art - your choice!
