Do you have an idea of how to activate a Cambridge park or plaza? We are currently looking for local businesses and non-profits to submit proposals for ways to activate public parks and plazas during May - July 2023.

Public Hearing of the Half Crown-Marsh Neighborhood Conservation District Commission in order to review applications to alter designated properties and other matters under the provisions of Chapter 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge and the order establishing the district. The Commission has a monthly meeting calendar, though meetings may be cancelled if no applications are received.

Street trees require lots of water to establish themselves and thrive. Our trees need your help to get enough water.

Cambridge GIS is all about Cambridge spatial data. We are constantly working on creating, maintaining, and delivering to our users the most accurate and reliable GIS datasets we can. We supply datasets, services, and applications to City staff, as well as to visitors to our website and other departmental sites which host our maps and apps.

To allow women in Cambridge to gain the tools necessary to protect themselves, the Cambridge Police Department currently offers a self-defense training course for women ages 16 and older, who live or work in the City of Cambridge.

Children and families can join us for an outdoor story time and short walk at Alewife Brook Reservation to look for plant and animal life. Parking is available at Alewife MBTA station or limited on-street parking on Cambridgepark Drive. No registration is required. The group is friendly and informal. How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library Question and Answer desk on the ground floor.
