The Cambridge Police Department offers a free Child Safety Seat Installation and Inspection service to help residents properly install car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts. A 30-year-old Cambridge man was safely taken into custody and then transported to a local hospital last night following a reported armed assault. After the armed assault, he barricaded himself in his home until Cambridge Police officers were able to successfully enter and place the man into custody.
