Summer Reading: Fun with Bubbles (O'Neill)
Join us outdoors to explore and learn with bubbles! We will blow bubbles of all sizes, make bubble wands, and play bubble games! For children of all ages with a caregiver.
In case of rain or bad weather there will be modified activities inside the Library.
Tween Comic Book Club (Main)
Let’s talk about your favorite comics! Bring in a graphic novel and share your thoughts on why it’s great – or even why it’s terrible. Each month will feature a different reading challenge – you get to pick any comic that you think matches the theme! Celebrate comics with snacks, books, and maybe even the chance to make one yourself!
This month’s theme, we're celebrating women artists! Bring in your favorite graphic novel or manga from a female creator and share it.
Snacks are provided. This program is for ages 9-12.

Find your next great read!
In this program, we will be sampling books from our Central Square adult collection. Spend 5 minutes with each title before rotating to the next.
Snacks will be provided.
Registration helpful but not required.
Gmail Basics - Manage your inbox and storage (Main)
Learn how to check your Gmail storage and how to manage your inbox by labeling, archiving and deleting emails. A Google (Gmail) account is required for the class. Please remember your email address and password, you will need them to sign in and practice during the class.
Laptops will be provided for the class.

Chess Hour (Boudreau)
Join us for a chess challenge. Players of all skill levels and all ages are welcome to participate.
Chess sets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. This is not an instructional class, but rather a gathering for individuals who want to play and test their skills against other members of the community.
There's no need to register in advance - simply drop by and challenge yourself to improve your mastery of this classic game!

CPL Nature Club: Elder Walks (Boudreau)
Join guide Stefanie Haug while exploring our neighborhood nature and celebrating Elderhood. As a group we'll connect with nature and the neighborhood mindfully with a gentle walk and draw on contemplative practices.
What to bring: layered clothing, comfortable shoes and water.

Community Supper with Food not Bombs (Central Square)
Join the Central Square Branch Library and Food not Bombs Cambridge for an end-of-year Community Supper. We'll have veg-forward food to share and conversation and connection for all. Guests are welcome to bring additional food to share.
