The annual conference brings together local leaders from across the country to engage on policy, learn from experts, and build partnerships to create brighter futures for our cities, towns, and villages.

The City of Cambridge is fully committed to acting with urgency on the actions recommended by the City Council following the tragic death of Arif Sayed Faisal. As the City implements these recommendations, the City Manager is providing this update to share our commitments so far to the Council and our community.

In stressful times, collage can be a powerful practice for well-being and resilience. Join local artist Elena Stone to create collages in a relaxing, fun, and reflective community setting. We will use simple materials and a lightly structured process to promote creativity and connection. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own collage papers (e.g. old magazines, calendars, wrapping paper, etc.) to share. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Learn about the privacy limitations for Artificial Intelligence (AI) use, misinformation/scams that use AI, and the social and ethical challenges presented by the introduction of this technology. This class will be delivered by a DOORS program instructor. WiFi is essential to everyday life for many people. Installing access points to offer free WiFi in the public spaces surrounding Inman Square and Russell Field would benefit many Cambridge residents.
