Brewster/Riedesel Reconstruction Project
Brewster St (Appleton to Sparks) and Riedesel Ave (Brattle to Brewster) are scheduled for street and sidewalk reconstruction in 2018 as part of the City's 5 Year Sidewalk & Street Reconstruction Plan.
Planning Studies
The Community Development Departments collaborates with other City departments to conduct planning studies of varying scales, often with goals to rezone, solve a particular problem, or create documentation of a topic.
“Still Marching 1970-2017” Photography Exhibit (Main)
Liane Brandon’s photographs of the historic International Women’s Day March of 1970 and the Boston Women’s March of 2017 will be on exhibit.
The photographs of the International Women's March are of great historical impact and are, additionally, beautiful works of art in and of themselves.

Additional Supplies for Unhoused Residents
Deliver critical supplies to unhoused residents through established programs, including items such as socks, hats, gloves, hand warmers, feminine hygiene products, and other items to assist people living in unsheltered situations.
Community Nights at Russell Youth Center
Beginning Friday, February 27, CYP is launching Community Friday Nights, a weekly program designed to bring neighbors of all ages together in a welcoming and positive environment. Join us at Russell Youth and Community Center every Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. for an evening filled with engaging activities, meaningful connections, and opportunities to build stronger relationships within the neighborhood and across the city.

Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class. This class will be taught at a high beginner level. No testing needed.
