Smart Recycling and Trash Compactors
Add 5 touchless rodent-resistant “Big Belly” recycling and trash compactors in Cambridge. Big Belly bins are solar-powered and more efficient than traditional bins. They keep the City cleaner, reduce the rodent population, and increase access to recycling.
Healthy Trees for a Healthy Cambridge
Street trees cool the city, absorb pollution, and make our neighborhoods more livable! Vote to plant 100 new trees & build tree wells in the areas that need them most, along with educational signage so you can learn about your “green neighbors."
Add and Maintain Bike Repair Stations
Bike repair stations need to be fixed around the City and need a program for routine maintenance. This project will create that three-year program and expand usable tools by installing five additional stations, ensuring tools are available for all.
Free Wifi in 6 Outdoor Public Spaces
Install special outdoor wifi access points to offer free public wifi in the public space surrounding the Area IV, Frisoli, Gately, and Moore Youth Centers, as well as the Fresh Pond Golf Course and Cambridge Water Department.

Explore options to stay cool this summer by visiting a local pool such as Gold Star Mothers Pool, War Memorial Recreation Center Pool, Veterans Memorial Pool, or enjoying one of 27 waterplay features located in parks around the city.
Cambridge Garden of Peace
The Peace Garden memorial will include benches and stones or objects reflecting names of loved ones from Cambridge who lost their lives to violence. An area of Riverside Press Park will be transformed into a place of tranquility and reflection.
Short Story Reading Group (Central Square)
Drop by the Central Square Branch's Lewis Room to read and discuss “No Flesh Over Our Bones" by Mariana Enriquez. Copies of the story will be provided, along with snacks. No preparation is needed. Registration helpful but not required.
