Party like you just got your first library card! All Kindergartners, along with their families and friends, are welcome to attend. Drop in between 3:00 and 4:00 to do a craft, learn about using your new library card, and say hi to other kindergarten friends!

Join us for the Fourth Annual Spelling Bee Finals. The Bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants.

Join us for an evening of board games. We have a range of classic, strategy, and party games including Bananagrams, Chess, Ticket to Ride, Azul, and more! Feel free to bring a board game to play with others. We will provide pizza and beverages. Registration helpful.

Expect weekend road closures and traffic impacts due to special events in the Port, East Cambridge, and Harvard Square from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5.

In this class, we'll take a friendly, no-pressure look at how artificial intelligence is being used to create fake photos, videos, and even cloned voices, and how scammers use these tools to trick people. We'll talk about real examples you may have seen in the news, learn some simple tips for spotting when something's not quite right, and share trustworthy tools and websites you can use to double-check information before you trust it, or share it with family and friends. You don't need any tech background to join us. Just bring your questions and your curiosity, we'll walk through everything together, step by step. This class is a part of the AARP curriculum. Join the Cambridge STEAM Initiative and other partners to explore the night sky, guided by high school interns from the Science Research Mentoring Program (SRMP)!

Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. Snacks are provided! This week there will be a special guest, local author Fin Leary! If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.
