3RD Annual Spelling Bee Finals (Main)
Join us for the 3rd Annual Spelling Bee. The spelling bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants. Cosponsored by the Fletcher Maynard Academy, My Brother's Keeper Cambridge, Sisters with a Dream, and Cambridge Public Library.
Summer Reading: Take and Make Paper Masks (Collins)
Stop by to pick up an activity before the weekend. Choose a paper mask template to take home; then color, cut and assemble.
Recommended for ages 4-10, while supplies last. Crayons/markers, scissors and glue/tape not provided.

Cambridge Young Authors' Squad - CYAS - Fall 2025 Kickoff (O'Neill)
Help us kick off the new school year with CYAS- Cambridge Young Authors' Squad.
Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. There will be time for share-outs/workshopping, as well as group or solo writing. Snacks are provided!
If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.
CPL PARK SOUNDS 2025: Juneteenth Celebration with the Dave Macklin Band
The Library celebrates Juneteenth with the Dave Macklin Band as they pay tribute to the musical contributions of Black artists.
PARK SOUNDS 2025 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. Bring a chair, food, and loved ones to celebrate the summer! Funding is provided by the CPL Foundation.
