The City Manager appoints a standing Climate Committee as an advisory committee to assist in the implementation of the Climate Protection Plan and Net Zero Action Plan.

This spring, fifteen Cambridge teens traveled to Atlanta to explore Black history, celebrate Black joy, and discover future opportunities. The trip was part of Cambridge Youth Programs’ out-of-state travel program, which invites recognized leaders in CYP’s teen programs on trips to tour Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

JAS held an initial community meeting on January 14th, 2025 to introduce themselves and the project to the community. They are holding another community meeting on July 24th at 6 p.m. at 243 Broadway, Cambridge and via Zoom to present updated designs and to collect feedback. Those who are interested in attending can register for the meeting here.

Play the classic ball game of four square with other teens at the library! First-time players are welcome to come learn how to play. Ages 12-18, no registration. For the month of January, we will be meeting virtually via Zoom. Please register in order to receive the Zoom meeting link! Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. There will be time for share-outs/workshopping, as well as group or solo writing. Snacks are provided!
