“What does it feel like to be a member of a community? And how do we hold on to our identity and sense of representation?" are questions being explored by choreographer Nailah Randall-Bellinger and the dancers of RootsUprising as part of a new Cambridge Artist Residency Program from Cambridge Arts.
$81,000 In Organizational Investment Grants Awarded To 9 Cambridge Nonprofits
Nine Cambridge cultural organizations have been awarded $81,000 in Organizational Investment Grants by Cambridge Arts and the City of Cambridge. The nonprofits are community art centers, associations and performance venues. They offer teaching and professional development, live music and dance, and broadcast cultural programming to diverse audiences. The funding program provides $9,000 grants to each nonprofit to support operational costs, sustainability, and resiliency for local cultural organizations that benefit Cambridge residents.
In Person Early Voting August 27th - September 2nd
Early voting is an opportunity to vote before Election Day. Any registered voter in Cambridge can vote during the early voting period, from Saturday, August 27th through Friday, September 2nd. Unlike Election Day, you are not assigned to a polling location. You can go to any of the Cambridge Early Voting Locations.

Learn how to safely navigate the internet using your smartphone (iPhone or Android). You will learn how to use a web browser on your smartphone, how to use search engines, and to stay safe on the internet. This class will be delivered by a DOORS program instructor.
