Want an easier way to keep track of appointments, events, and reminders? Come learn Google Calendar, a free scheduling tool that works on your phone, tablet, or computer. We'll cover the basics: creating and editing events, setting reminders, sharing calendars with family or coworkers, and syncing across your devices. No experience needed, just bring your questions (and a Google account if you have one). This class is a part of the AARP curriculum. This event has been moved to the Learning Lab at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome. Stop by the Boudreau Branch during vacation week to create something using 3D pens! This drop-in event is intended for school aged children and their families.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO THE WEATHER Come explore the nature in our urban backyard! We will take a leisurely walk as we observe and learn together about the animals and plants at Alewife Reservation. You are welcome to bring binoculars, magnifying glasses or any other observational tool. The paths and boardwalks are well maintained but can be muddy in places. The walk will meet at the stone benches by the wetland boardwalk. To view the location in Google Maps and get directions, click here. Limited free parking is available in the Alewife Reservation lot on Acorn Drive. In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled. Registration is helpful but not required.
