Cambridge’s 21st Century Broadband Initiative
The City has launched a 21st Century Broadband initiative and hired nationally known CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) to conduct a feasibility study to help the City achieve its digital equity connectivity and Municipal Broadband goals.

Central House
The YMCA sold the Central House, a 128-unit SRO facility for men, to Caritas Communities. The property was rehabbed and improved.
Apply for a Preservation Grant
To aid in the preservation and rehabilitation of these older buildings, the Cambridge Historical Commission administers various federal, state, and local programs.

The Public Information Office (PIO) acts as the main liaison between the City and the media. The PIO team is happy to assist journalists covering the City of Cambridge.
