Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for four sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next four sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is attached to the first DnD session, 12/2. Instructions and supplies will be provided for an afternoon activity. Learn to fold paper airplanes inspired by flying dinosaurs. We'll follow complex instructions and share flying tips to make these Jurassic models. Recommended for ages 6-12 with a caregiver.

We will read and discuss the book in sections as follows: Session 1 - Intro, Barbara Smith Session 2 - Beverly Smith, Demita Frazier Session 3 - Alicia Garza, Angela Davis, comments Session 4 – Reflections on Cambridge present and future Participants are encouraged to come to as many sessions as they can — and all are welcome! Are you an intermediate or advanced sewer? This workshop will cover serger machine setup, threading a serger, and identifying correct tension settings with different types of fabric. You will learn about ways to use our Elna Extend 864 Air serger to take your sewing skills to the next level by producing special finishing styles, hemming, trimming and assembling your garments. This workshop is designed for patrons who have prior experience using a sewing machine to complete many types of fiber arts projects. If you are new to machine sewing, we recommend you take our Sewing 101 workshop before using our serger.
